Fonroche Lighting is pleased to announce that it has selected Hocine Benaoum as its new CEO effective February 2021. Benaoum, a global business leader, brings a wealth of leadership experience from the aviation and aerospace industry. He succeeds Niels Van Duinen, who stepped down in February.
“We are thrilled to introduce a leader of Hocine’s caliber to guide Fonroche Lighting America,” said International Director, Yassine Kerroumi. “Hocine has demonstrated his ability to drive growth, integrate across regions and maintain operational excellence.”
Benaoum comes to Fonroche from his role as Vice President – International Sales/General Manager of Figeac Aero USA Inc., a manufacturer specializing in machining, surface treatment and assembly for the aviation, aerospace and oil & gas industries. This included the creation of Figeac’s “ONE STOP SHOP” factory, creating new US manufacturing jobs in Wichita, KS.
Prior to joining Figeac Aero in the United States, he held various leadership positions in Figeac Aero Europe, such as, Supply Chain and European Aerospace Business development. He attracted customers such as Boeing, Airbus, Rolls Royce, MHI, KHI & Collins Aerospace.
Benaoum holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Valenciennes Polytechnique University in France.

Benaoum is inspired by Fonroche’s success in selling over 100,000 solar streetlights to date and looks forward to the same success here in the US.
